Architectural Investments was contracted to design the regional offices and distribution facility for Koch Air, LLC in Louisville, Kentucky. Koch Air markets, sells and distributes “Carrier” Heating & Air conditioning systems. The building consists of 55,000 s.f. and contains, not only their main offices and distribution facilities but also; conference and training centers for local HVAC contractors and engineers, as well as a showroom and parts sales center. The design concept for the building was to construct an economical, yet elegant, contemporary building that would reflect the company’s commitment to the product without being ostentatious. The exterior shell finish was designed as a combination of textured masonry, glass curtain wall, and exposed structural steel; painted to match to company color
