Republic Plaza is a renovation of an existing Class “C” office into Class “B+” space to house a call center and data center for Republic Bank. This six story, $5 million renovation to a downtown landmark building included: a fast track scope of demolition; replacement of all windows and concrete panels; the addition of new fenestration to the exterior entrance; the reworking of ramps at front entrance with new accent lighting; new landscaping; renovation and replacement of all finishes in lobby; the renovation of all restrooms to include replacement of all fixtures and finishes; addition of new sprinklers throughout the facility; replacement of all primary switchgear; replacement of building air handlers; the installation of a new build-out of offices on three floors. The project was made more complex by the need to work around existing tenants while constructing on an aggressive schedule.
